PALMS helps students to develop leadership skills and career oriented skills which
is required to be successful in today’ s competitive world. Towards this objective,
PALMS is happy to present a range of useful programmes for the School Students.
- Career Discovery: ( Std IX & X). This programme is developed keeping in mind
the students who are in the cross roads of choosing the ideal field of education.
Through a scientific questionnaire, we discover the students interests and core
strengths. We use their Reasoning, Mathematical & Logical skills rating and advise
the areas they need to improve in order to purse the career of their interest. Duration
: 4 hours
- Learning & Examination Skills: (Std VIII to XII) The performance of a student,
basically depends upon how quickly he learns and how well he is able to reproduce
at the time of examination. This programme helps the student to improve his memory
skills, learning skills, examinations skills and writing skills. Duration : 3 hours
- Blue Ocean Careers: (Std XII and their parents). The programme helps the
students and parents to widen the horizons of what type of courses are available
after the completion of +2. We offer relevant advise on the many courses that are
in its infancy stage, which will become the careers most sought after, by the time
the child completes his studies. Duration : 3 hours
- India Vision 2020: (Std VIII to Std XII) . This is a FREE programme for students
of to develop responsible citizen in the society, by spreading the message of our
former National President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. This programme helps the student
to identify the needs of the country and contribute to it with his strengths and
aspiration, to achieve a win – win situation. Duration : 1 hours
- Goal Setting & Motivation: ( Std IX to XII) This programme is aimed at motivating
the students to set goals, plan their work, manage time and systematically follow
up in achieve the targets they set for themselves. Duration : 3 hours
- Successful Teens: This programme is for the teenagers (Std IX to Std XII).
The programme brings to focus a few habits, when cultivated in these young minds
can make them effective, for a life time. Duration : 2 days
- Junior Speech Craft: (Std VIII to XII), One of the worst fears, anyone can
face is the fear of speaking in public. This programme helps students to dispel
the fear of public speaking. They will learn the technique of designing a effective
speech, develop meaningful content, with stories and humour, and deliver effectively
with good voice modulation and correct body language. Duration : 2 days
